Year 3 @ Brookburn

On wednsdey i am going to see princess and the frog.Mr alderdice what are you doing on pancake day.

I am going to chester to see my cousins.

A trip to the cinema sounds like it will be fun William. I’m sure everyone would like to hear what you thought of the film when you’ve watched it.
My only plans for pancake day are:
1. Make lots of pancakes.
2. Eat lots of pancakes.
3. Have a lie down because I’ve eaten too many pancakes!

1. Charles Darwin was born in 1809 and died in 1882.He also went to Samuel Butler’s school in Shrewsbury.

2. Charles Darwin loved collecting things.He collected things like beetles,Finches and lot’s more.

3. Charles Darwin’s dad sent him to a university in Edinburgh.But Charles didn’t want to so he didn’t and went back to collecting.

4. Charles Darwin published a book called ”On the origin of species” in 1859.

5. Charles Darwin wrote another book called”The descent of man”in 1871. The reason it was so important was it contained his ideas on selection in relation to humans.

Well i am not doing anything for pancake day.But i am going to the zoo.

On Tuesday 16th February I’m going to Scotland and I’m going to go to a wild-life park and you get to feed some of the animals.

This holiday i am in Wales.
I have just been in a hot tub in the rain and I am going to eat lots of pancakes with lemon and sugar. That’s my favourite.
I went crabbing yesterday with no crab line so we didn’t catch any. We went for a cake on Bangor pier but the cafe was shut so we went hungry.
The day before that we went to the sea zoo. It was open. Hurray!

In the holidays I went to wales with my sisters, my mum and dad and Janek. We went in the hot tub everyday except when I was ill. We have been very lazy.

On pancake day i diddit even get one pancake.

Tonight I am going to a gang show with my beavers.

Yesterday I tided my bedroom my mum was very
pleased oh and I almost fogot I got a new lamp shade.

Oh no the beaves gang show tonigt I completey forgot about it.

I had a birthday party on Saturday when I got together with friends. Since then I’ve been putting up wardrobes and other exciting things.

I’m i wales to Freya and Mikey! I went to a swiming pool with three slides, a wave pool and a lagoon! It was fantastic!!! I went to caswell beach to and Finty[who is mad]ran into a pool of water and sat down in it!!!HAHAHA!!!

I have been in Portsmouth to see my family. I went swimming today the slides were great!

My Grandma came.

Today my cousins are coming.

I went to trafford center to get my mum’s present because it was her birthday.
Later we went to a park and we crossed a freezing river with stepping stones.
Today is Friday 19/2/10 we are going to have a mid night feast we are going to stay up for very late!

I went to chinese new year with my sister, my mum and my mum’s friend (Jenn). I also went to a restaurant with some other friends. I saw some fireworks. On other days I made biscuits and some pizza. My friends came over too. I went to grassroots multiskills holiday playscheme and I played sports. There was a mini olympics and I won a certificate. I also went to see the Princess and the Frog. It sounds like you have quite a fun-filled holiday. Sadly, I have had lots of homework to do over the holidays so I haven’t done anything exciting. I did meet up with some of my friends though, and I also watched some rugby matches. Unfortunately, my team lost!
